An area with international connections. The Borgo di Mustonate is situated three kilometres from Varese and is near the Swiss border and the A8 motorway to Milan. The location of the Borgo has many advantages, being close to Euratom C.C.R., or the Joint Research Centre JRC in Ispra, and the European School in Varese. It is also easy to reach Malpensa International Airport from the Borgo as well as the Elilombarda heliport at the Aero Club Adele Orsi in Calcinate del Pesce.
